Upon arrival, I found the room deplorable, but after a quick fix at the front desk, it turned out to be comfortable with plenty of space, including a full kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, an eating area, and a living room. Although the hotel is sister to Sands Ocean Club, it was a cozy stay overall.

A great spot behind the high rise with a side ocean view, ideal for the Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Golf event. The hotel offers comfortable rooms and friendly service, but be prepared for some messy beach stuff.
